The November 2024 Ohio Enforcement Update
Beginning November 18, 2024, Ohio BMV enforces a real, dated Clearinghouse rule. Drivers reported with a prohibited status in the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse cannot have their CDL or CLP issued, renewed, upgraded, or transferred by Ohio BMV until they complete the federal return-to-duty process.
